Are you struggling to find movement while you undergo or recover from cancer treatment? Are you unsure of how to start? Do you struggle to find connection to your body?

Undergoing or recovering from cancer treatment is challenging. There are many body changes and side effects that can occur and finding energy and movement can be hard.

Be supported through this time with this series by reconnecting to your body to build mobility and strength while being gentle enough to meet you where you are at.

Created and taught by a local cancer rehabilitation Physiotherapist and yoga teacher, this 6 week series will integrate supportive breath work, mindful movement and gentle strengthening with emphasis on quality over quantity.

This live online class will give you the time, space, tools and connection to begin moving your body again in a way that feels positive and safe.

All are welcome regardless of diagnosis, stage of care or recovery.

The instructors
Natalie Morris
As a physiotherapist, Natalie’s goal is to provide one on one physiotherapy services to clients in a supportive and compassionate setting. She believes that successful rehabilitation requires a thorough assessment, proper communication, engagement and thoughtful treatment planning. She believes that in order for optimal recovery to occur, that the whole person and the whole body need to be taken into account. Natalie spent the first half of her career working in private practice with a focus on orthopaedics, work and sport related injuries. She volunteered extensively with local sports teams and events. Additionally, she worked part time in long term care and retirement home settings. In 2013, she began working in oncology (cancer) and lymphedema rehabilitation. She there discovered her passion for helping men and women who are living with cancer manage side effects to treatment, diffuse pain, address functional limitations and return to active lifestyles. Natalie uses a combination of manual therapy, joint mobilization, myofascial release, IMS and exercise rehabilitation within her sessions. Each treatment plan is individually designed with her client’s goals and values in mind. Services provided in English &/or French. Follow Natalie on Instagram @nataliemorrispt!
