Online Support for registrants of the virtual Physio Rehab series at Bloom Integrative Health & Movement Centre (Tuesdays at 10:45am or Saturdays 9:15am, Jan 18 - Feb 22, 2022)


Enhance your postpartum Physiotherapy rehab program with these small group classes focused on restoring abdominal wall, pelvic floor, core and whole body flexibility, mobility and strength through integrative mat Pilates work.

Collaboratively designed by women’s and pelvic health Physiotherapists and our Pilates-trained Assistant, these weekly 1 hour classes will intentionally progress you over 6 weeks to restore optimal movement, control and strength for daily life as well as athletic or fitness goals.

This class is designed and safe for:

  • all postpartum mama’s, whether 6 weeks or 2 years.
  • have any concerns such as diastasis recti, core dysfunction, pelvic organ prolapse, incontinence, pelvic girdle pain, low back pain, etc.

While baby is welcome to join, we hope that you will be able to come independently so as to focus on yourself and garner all the benefits of the time you are putting in

Things to have for class:

  • A Yoga/ Pilates mat,
  • a private space to move,
  • any elastic bands, free weights, or therapy balls if various size

Certified Stott Pilates Instructor
With over 20 years of experience working in City of Ottawa recreational centres, workplace fitness centres and in a private pilates studio Vanessa enjoys teaching participants from all walks of life. She has designed personal and group programs for teenagers, seniors, pre- and post-natal moms, athletes, and people overcoming injury or those living with long-term disease.Vanessa draws from the extensive offering of Pilates exercises with a desire to help people achieve balance in movement.
